FIRST INFORMAL MEETING OF CLIMADAM PROJECT PARTNERS

Climate change knows no boundaries. Therefore, cooperation between countries is essential in order to adapt and mitigate this issue.

At the end of the year, the first informal meeting of CLIMADAM project partners took place. Due to COVID-19 measures, the meeting was organized online. The meeting was also attended by Oleh Kotsuba – the first deputy head of the regional government of Transcarpathia, who welcomed and supported this cross-border project aimed at cooperation between Slovak and Ukrainian institutions in adapting to climate change that knows no borders.

The aim of the meeting was to get to know the project partners and say introductory words about the first activities of the project. The main framework of the project, goals and activities were presented and the responsibilities for project activities were also redistributed among the individual partners. The discussion also focused on the alignment of partnership agreements with the Lead Partner. One of the main points of discussion was the planning of the upcoming KICK-OFF meeting, which should take place at the end of January 2021.
