Projects - Open zone

In terms of procedures related to European and state co-financing, ARR project managers covered 2 investment projects of the European Capital of Culture Košice 2013:

Islands of Culture – Open Zone 1 – Historic purpose-built building of the East Slovak Museum in Košice
– Islands of Culture – Open Zone 4 – Courtyard of Barkóczy Palace, library
Both investments have been completed, and Barkóczy Palace is already open to the public. During August 2013, the historic VSM building and its biggest attraction – the Košice Golden Treasure – will also be inaugurated.

Project of the Place of Rákoci's Glory

From Mukachevo via Košice to Sárospatak, tourists will be able to follow in the footsteps of Rákoci’s glory thanks to the international project Places of Rákoci’s glory – in the footsteps of Rákoci’s (The Places of Rakoczi´s glory – the Cross-Border Touristic Route).

The East Slovak Museum in Košice is a partner of the ENPI Hungary – Slovakia – Romania – Ukraine cross – border cooperation project 2007-2013. The aim is to create a tourist tour, where visitors will be able to see the places and monuments that connect the personality of Francis II. Rákociho. Project Bicy

The project aims to support the use of bicycles as a key element of public transport and ecological, modern and safe modes of transport by raising awareness of the population and competent institutions and bodies about the use of bicycles as a means of transport, creating comprehensive cycling development plans as an essential part of land use planning and transfer of experience from more experienced partners. www.bicy.it

Project "Construction of the Kéked - Trstené pri Hornáde connecting road"

As part of the project, the III road was reconstructed on the Slovak side. class in the section Ždaňa – Trstené pri Hornáde – no. SR / MR border in order to improve the accessibility of the border region with Hungary.

Project "Hollóháza - Skároš construction of the connection" (HOSKA)

Project "MIKADO - Minimization of municipal waste in the microregion Laborecká niva"

Minimizing the generation of municipal waste in the pilot micro-region Laborecká niva by increasing the participation of the population in separate collection to 50% by 2011 is the goal of the project, the final recipient of which is the Košice self-governing region. The project was implemented in cooperation with the Laborecká niva micro-region as a project partner.

Project "Road connection Zemplénagárd - Veľké Trakany".

It is also a road interconnection project, similar to HOSKA and Trstené – Kéked, the project is being implemented within the framework of the Cross-border Cooperation Program Hungary – Slovak Republic 2007-2013.

Streda nad Bodrogom - Karos - construction modifications of the road, crossroads and elements of public passenger transport (STREKA)

The output of the project is a built asphalt road with a length of 1719 m. renovated sidewalks: 445 m2; renovated sidewalks: 527 m2, parking spaces: 41 pcs; bus stop: 1 pcs, renovated roads: 3505 m2.
